Liar LiarLiar liar,  I'm on fire,  Trapped in my own hell.  Burning walls,  I scream as I fall,  Down into the darkness.   
Pitch black,  I am back,  To the land where I was born.  Screaming, laughter  Masochistic disaster,  A heavy scent of blood in the air.   
Crying children,  Crying old men,  Their bodies lay, distorted and broken.  Demons fly,  In the ebony sky,  I sit and watch the show. Liar Liar

To the left and free-fallWater dripping,  Mixed with blood,  A light red pool appears on the floor.  Staring down,  At the linolium floor,  Suddenly everything seems so fake.   
This poem is for my own sake,  Because I know that no one will fully understand,  Who could understand the way that pain  Angers me, and pleasures me, both, in its own  Evil way?  Suddenly the volume is turned down, and I'm seeing through anothers eyes.

When I first came on DA, I was timid. I didn't think any of my work even deserved the tiniest spot on this site. But within moments of me posting my work, I noticed someone had commented. Her name is Kaitlyn. We have been talking ever since, sharing stories, problems, laughs. Never before had I met someone who could make me feel better within seconds. Now, some months later, and about 22 more poems, and one short story... I have some confidence in myself and in my art.
And poetry wasn't the only thing that came out of her encouraging comments. A friendship I treasure more than anything, and a love never felt before have also come out of it. So, I would just like to take this small time out, to say a thank you.

Thank you, Kaitlyn Roebuck. For everything you have helped my through, you never cease to stay at my side.

And thank you, anyone else, who bothers to comment on my work.
